Your privacy is fully protected.
CrispScan processes all documents 100% on-device. Your scanned files, receipts, and IDs are never collected, stored, or shared with third parties.
How Your Data Is Handled
Camera
Used only to scan documents. All processing is done on-device. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
iCloud
If enabled, documents are stored in your private Apple iCloud account. CrispScan has no access to this data.
In-App Purchases
Handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. No payment data is collected by CrispScan.
Keychain
A scan count is stored in the iOS Keychain to manage the free trial. This data never leaves your device.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
CrispScan displays advertisements through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for free-tier users. Google UMP is integrated to gather user consent in compliance with GDPR and applicable privacy regulations. AdMob may process pseudonymous technical identifiers for ad serving and fraud prevention. Your scanned documents, camera feed, and exported PDFs remain strictly on-device and are never accessible to Google AdMob or any advertisers.
